Hi, my name is Tanja.

When I first got to know the practice of compassionate journaling as a teenager, I had no idea what impact compassion towards myself as well as others would have on my life. For many years, I wrote day in, day out compassionate, supportive and sometimes even motivating words to myself about whatever was bothering me in my day-to-day life. Since that time, this way of acting has been a thread running through my life and my daily routine.

Learning how to treat myself like a good friend in all kinds of situations and realizing how helpful, beneficial and strengthening it is to know that I am always by my own side, then also shaped my professional path.

Today I work as a psychologist, psychotherapist, shiatsu therapist as well as teacher for mindfulness and Mindful Self-Compassion in Zurich. And it is always a joy for me to accompany people in (re)connecting with their own liveliness, the flow of life and what is whole in each of us. And the ability to treat ourselves as a good friend in all the twists and turns of life.

Tanja is a Certified Teacher of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC).
